On the 2nd of August 2008 Tango Bajo in collaboration with Tango Tambien
announced the opening of a new Argentine tango milonga: 'La Mision'
The venue is a beautiful old church with gorgeous lead lighting and stunning
vaulted ceilings.
La Mision has been so successful that Bill Jarman now runs a milonga on
every Saturday, excluding the last Saturday of the month. The first and
third Saturdays are devoted to traditional music and any other Saturdays
are Musica Divertida (mostly traditional with some electrotango).
Price: $15
Introduction class: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Milonga: 9:00pm - midnight
You are welcome to bring along your own refreshments and nibbles.

On the third Monday night of every month Leigh holds a Followers Technique
Class. These classes incorporate various techniques to assist women in their
dance:- posture, body and breath awareness, stretching, imagery and more.
21 Nov 2011 As this is the last followers technique class
for the year we will review "The floor is your friend - being more grounded
and balanced", plus YOUR CHOICE of technique. There is much to choose from
- giros, boleos, forward and back crosses, etc. etc. - whatever is your
choice will be reviewed/worked on with the emphasis on "grounding oneself".
